Ficciones 2011 - Nuevos/Públicos

Projects shall be sent by e-mail to produccionencuentro@gmail.com specifying the title of the project and the category to which it will be destinated. E.g. 1ª Expositivos Fotografía – “xxxxxx”.
Applicants in all cases shall include personal data (Name, Nacionality, Date of Birth, Address, Phone number) and a summary of their CV of no more than 1 A4 size 12 facet

Presentation categories are:
Expositive projects a)Photography (may pose a mounting area of 3.75 x 3 m in the plane at máximum & 3 m in size if the Project warrants. Project shall include image/s in JPG format of a máximum of 1200 x 1800 pixels and 100dpi. An interpretive text of no more tan 1 A4 size 12 facet. Technical information sheet specifying the characteristics of the work.. b) Audiovisual (AVI or MOV format) files shall be uploaded via Yousendit.com. An interpretive text of no more tan 1 A4 size 12 facet. Technical information sheet specifying the characteristics of the work.
Lectures- Aiming at presentations of no more tan 45 min including a 15 min time for public participation. A summary text of no more tan 250 words shall be sent synthesizing the presentation. If selected will be asked the full lecture specifying the style, the use of audiovisual material, pictures and other inputs that will be used.
Educative experiences- group activities lasting no more than 4 hours. The project shall be presented with texts, images and the appropriate material to make it understandable. As with an specification of the structural needs.
Fictions- Innovating experiences. All projects shall be submitted within the framework of Ficciones 2011 Encuentro Bienal de Fotografía “Nuevos/Públicos”. The Project shall be developed with text, images and material to clarify their understanding.

The selection process will be undertaken by Angie Bonino, Diana Mines, Jean-Pierre Lambert, Daniel Sosa, Ignacio Rodríguez

The deadline for entries is June 10, 2011- This call is part of the objectives of dissemination, research and education of “Nuevos/Públicos" FICCIONES 2011 Encuentro Bienal de Fotografía.
